Madison Heck Intro

Hi everyone! My name is Madison Heck and I am currently playing women’s lacrosse at Georgian Court University. Mental health has always held a special place in my heart. I have been through my own personal battles throughout high school and college so when Marcus reached out and explained what this organization is all about I was instantly intrigued. Being involved in sports brought me out of those dark places and was that crutch that I could always rely on. There are tons of athletes that share similar stories as I do which shows why the relationship between athletics and mental health is so important. By being a part of an organization where I can contribute to people who have and had similar struggles as I do is extremely rewarding. A huge thank you to Marcus for bringing me into this family and bringing this organization to life. I can't wait to see Alston for Athletes grow and develop the platform it deserves!
