Yes, you heard me right! ToDo lists hold so much power in your day to day life. When you create a list it helps center all the things you may be juggling. When you put everything down in one place it avoids you forgetting to complete a task and also allows you to plan when you are going to do what. I was extremely anti ToDo lists until I got to college. This was because I thought it was a waste of time, I could store it in my mind, and that they were impossible to complete. I quickly found that my anti ToDo list was in for a raincheck. I now write them daily because they give me peace of mind. I also realized that not everything put on your list has to be done all in one shot. By putting all your ToDo’s in one place it helps you delegate what needs to be done asap and what can wait.
ToDo lists can also help with productivity. When you have something that keeps you in check, you are more likely to keep working so you can cross those things off your list. By completing tasks and checking them off, it can give you a sense of accomplishment which will drive you to stay in tune and motivated for the next task ahead. It isn’t easy to immediately feel like ToDo lists are helping you, but if you make it your habit it will become your number one tool which will leave you to be sufficient in planning.
